SCX10 Shock recommendation please Empty SCX10 Shock recommendation please

Hi,

3 out of 4 shocks on our Dingo are leaking like sieves so it is time to replace them with something better.

What I researched so far:
Axial has nice looking alu shocks -- at a price.
I saw Traxxas XXL Big Bore recommended somewhere, they look all right and are decently priced.
Pro-Line PowerStroke seem to be liked too, though pricey.
G-Made seems to be another budget-friendly choice, but I have not been able to find out how good they are.

Any recommendations?

thanks, Werner

TS01 not good for my heavy landy. Soft spring is too soft. hard spring is too bouncy but make my landy looks nice. Good to drive on smooth to slightly rough road. Scale like sway of the vehicle while turning with some speed. Still testing out.

Have ordered the XD Diaphragm Shock, pending arrival.

This is all I can say base on my usage. The TS01 should be ok for the dingo(hard spring) as it is. Dingo is much much lighter than my landy. I'll try it out tonite and update you.

Hi Werner. The GMADE TS01 shock hard spring can hold up the Dingo well. Only a bit bumpy as it is not oil shock. I'm using NiMH battery. But given the wide tyre and axel, it should be ok unlike my landy. My stock Axial shock is too hard for the Dingo. This is due to low mileage Laughing

Thanks for the info!
I hope to get a bit of bounce out of the Dingo when changing the shocks. The original SCX10 shocks are very bouncy; they act more like springs, especially upon compression.
