Battery for Axial SCX10 RTR Honcho
Hi all,
Want to get some batts for my incoming RTR Honcho Probably asked a million times, but can't seem to find a thread on this topic.
What is the most appropriate Lipos for RTR Honcho? 2S / 3S ? and min. how many mAH and Cs are necessary? Am considering to go S'wan to take a look, but if there are other locations to explore hope to get some hints here too.
I know answer probably also depends on how long or how fast I wanna chiong but just considering some typical trailing on weekends and what most SGcrawlers are using.
Paiseh if there is already a thread started on this, please re-direct me, thanks!!

Re: Battery for Axial SCX10 RTR Honcho
honcho stock esc can only run on 2s max.
a 5000mah can last u the whole trail and the Cs no need that high if just trailing.
and if you can wait, order from hobbyking, much much cheaper than local bro.

Don' t forget that you also need a suitable charger, and that both ESC and the battery have the right connector!

Thanks for the headsup. Yup, got my old Hyperion Lipo charger and a low voltage alarm on standby. Once kit arrives, think should be more or less ready to roll

Yeah! Another Honcho owner!
quest though: Why do u need buzzer if ESC has LVC (low voltage cutoff)? Or what is LVC for then? confused

Indeed, Axial AE-2 ESC shipped with current Honcho's has LiPo cut-off, so buzzer is strictly speaking not needed.
Re: Battery for Axial SCX10 RTR Honcho
Does it? Anyone know at what voltage does the axial ESC cut-off the Lipo?
