Wrigleys' Rc4wd Trailfinder 2 TF2 Build
Got it from Tgn Distributing where Liew recommended and got his. TF2 kit arrived in about 2 weeks via USPS. So far I managed to open and inspect the parts. the details!
The box, which is simple yet poisonous!
Cast Yota axles really felt solid. Will get to the internals when build starts.
1.55 steel beadlocks which will go with the stock Mud Thrashers.
R3 2 Speed Transmission
Ratios Pinion/spur 14/64 = 4.57:1 1st gear
3.47:1 2nd gear 1.27:1
Mojave body inside which I've yet to tear into.
Till all other parts and electronics arrive, these will sit inside the box.
Ok, I just had to build this so here it goes.
Started stripping the Yota axles to give the internals, gears and all another coat of grease (Marine Grease Proboat).
After applying the grease and reassembling the Yota axles, it was non stop work on the chassis to get a roller. Newbie me took almost 7 hours to build this and I am far from complete....
Managed to install a motor (Silvercan), servo (Towerpro 996MG) and ESC (240A China ESC).
Till then... Need to recharge my midnight oil...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Junfac shafts are in!
The gear shifter (5kg servo), 3racing winch and body paint will be needed to complete this build.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roller completed with all the electronics!
Completed painting this rig.
On stock 1.55 Mud Trashers
1.9 Ripsaws

All! BBB! Haha. From the build so far, I think this rig is worth buying.... Just see how Mr Liew use it week in week out without major downtime.

Hi Derrick, you can get the Junfac shafts from eBay. Shipping is only a few dollars.
