As i jz mentioned,i'm a newbie interested in starting rc boating.i dont hv any kakis or experienced in boating. Jz found out this cool forum n the best thing there is a boating team here! Hi sham, there various site selling boat such as hobby king, R2 hobbies . There few RC shop in sg also selling boat.
It all depend what type of boat and how much you wanna spend but for beginners and if you have a deep pocket you can go for Pro boat which in our local shop

Perhaps You wanna joint us maybe next Saturday at woodland town garden, my contact is 90707669.

Me just a deckhand sometimes also do Janitor's duty Very Happy . If you want a really fast catamaran and scale looking, go for Pro boat. They currently have Miss Geico, Mystic and Blackjack. I believe you can get it locally at RCS. If not, Jet Hobby has some nice boats too like the Snap, Mini Cat and other kind of boats too. Take a look at this video

I dont know about the kyosho jetstream but our big bro here Mr Teck has a Proboat MG and boy it flies! Very Happy

Hi bro Teck,thnks for the advice.I seen alot of videos on youtube for proboat MG but theres little for kyosho jetstream.so i can decide whether to get kyosho as i dunno the performance of that boat.i dont want to burn my pocket n end up getting nt a gd boat.do u think the electronics installed in kyosho jetstream is ok? I'm going to RCS tis afternoon to check out the boats there.hv to see see n get alot of advice before investing..

As i said try getting a v hull first it will b easy to control at high speed i do not know wat Set up the kyosho have in the boat but u can always change the motor or Esc to your likes even proboat we have change the Esc n motor to make it go faster as the proboat Esc can only use for 4s battery n we r playing with 6s.

For mg if u r playing with stock is ok if u play with 6s or higher it will flip over easy n u may have to do some thing on the rudder or it will bounce on water a lot
