Is known as Battery Eliminator Circuitry. You remember last time in the olden days our receiver needs the 4 AA batteries to power up? Then came along this invention call the "BEC". Which
eliminate the use of the 4 AA batteries.

But in Crawlers, the BEC is use to power up the steering servo by tapping power from the battery pack directly instead of going thru the receiver. Because the receiver does not provide enuff amps for the high torque servos. The BEC actually step down the voltage from 7.2 volts to 6 volts for the servos.

But now the new generation servos can suck power directly from the lipo without having this BEC in between them.
