Re: What's next Poison for SGC Tourers?

Post by laneboysrc on Thu 18 Apr 2013 - 8:34

Great! I've also ordered two and have to collect them from the post office today Very Happy

Sad to hear that they fit forcibly only though -- the old LPR 4600 2S I have has the same measurements as listed for this battery and fits perfectly. Will check tonight if there is a difference.
As Marpek suggested a bit of spacers may improve the fit.

As you said it fits nicely into the hatch-type battery boxes of other Tamiya cars -- I was also counting on that for my DF03Ra Smile

I see you run our battery wire under the servo linkage. Wouldn't it be better to turn the battery around and have the cables come out on ESC side?

I would suggest for motor instead of just putting silver can. Is it possible to put motors limited to brushed 25T or higher turns. What you think?

Shouldnt be a big issue, as stock silvercan is around 27T, unless you using modified 25T and will be too quick for stock motor.

Best for everyone is to bring along spare brushed/brushless motors along as you can tried out different setup on track at the end of day as we not gonna be racing the mini whole day rite.
