Babyboy's Tug Boat

My first Tug Boat. This boat is huge. Looks 7/10 scale. This is a RTR. It has good forward turning authority but for reverse there's not much control. The tug boat lean to either side dangerously. After just 1 outing this boat has been sent to the dry docks for retrofit.

All the innards is removed and will be replaced.

Top removed. It took me quite a while to unscrew it. This boat is build with the mind that it will not be service forever. the screws are all so tight that the receiver for the tapping screw is already crack.

Water tank act as Ballast. Water pump. Had to activate the pump to get the water in the tank.

From left to right: Joker ballast.. dun weight really much. Receiver, servo and navigation arm.

Replacement battery. The existing battery dun last more than 10 mins. Still need ballast to hold it down the water line.

Nice looking tugboat!

Very nice indeed, love the looks of this boat! The electronics are wonderful. I didn't know that one makes 27MHz through-hole boards still these days. The relais must cost a fortune!
