Babyboy's Unimog 406
This is my Unimog 406. Inspired by Laneboysrc Unimog, I decided to get one myself. After many moons decided to build it up.
Color: Orange. Came out not the color that I wanted. Maybe becos I spray white to cover the orange... should have been black instead... I'm still learning.
" />
Smoke windows....my skill still sucks...
" />
Expensive lesson learned
" />
" />
Test fit to see the wheel aligment... tyre is too broad
" />
Seems high sitting on the chassis.
" />
Definitely need to do something to cover the innards...
" />
Next up will see how to mount the body to the chassis. Thanks for watching.

Nice body and great painting!
The side-planks that you didn't attach yet may cover up quite a bit of the innards.

Thanks laneboysrc. I have thot of the side-planks... will try to have a fuel tank, storage compartment etc to see if can make it look scale.laneboysrc wrote:Nice body and great painting!

Re: Babyboy's Unimog 406
Cut up the Unimog. This Unimog build will have an extended wheelbase. Actually looks better without the rear bed. Now its time to think how to mount this up on the chassis.

Will build and extended bed for this Unimog. That's all for now.

Re: Babyboy's Unimog 406
Good choice, saves you a lot of headache with the wheelbase.
A tow truck would be nice and useful.
