I needed light buckets for my Gmade Sawback, it was Christmas season...

$3 for a whole bunch! Plus factor: They come chromed and reflective!

Cut-file off the top of the bell. Drill/ream a hole dead center. Use a needle or small drill bit first to get the right spot. The LED bulb with the plastic holder should fit snugly. So ream the hole out bit by bit, taking care not to make the hole too big.

I cut off the longer arms of the black plastic holders so that there's less blockage of the light.

Saw-file off the bottom of the bells to make smaller light buckets for the break lights and turn signals.

Original Shoe Goo. Since everyone was recommending this. I tried it for myself. Only time will tell how well it holds.

Front light buckets Goo-ed on. Was tedious and messy. Use a small screwdriver to shape the Goo neatly around the light buckets. Allow the Goo to dry for a day for best results.

Rear buckets Goo-ed on as well.

Now for all the wiring. The light control unit is a cheap one from Hobby King, about $10.

I like things neat so I used shrink tubing and old decals to keep everything in place.

Hope you found this short tutorial helpful Smile

Thanks Werner & boolean Smile

Had a hard time finding Shoe Goo. Finally found them at Home Fix at Thomson Plaza. They carry the whole range now.

I was in two Home Fix lately but they didn't stock it anymore.
I got it from Artfriend last Saturday, they have a wide variety of this kind of stuff. The large tube was around SGD 11 or so.

Yes, not easy to find. I called the Thomson Plaza Home Fix branch and the guy said stocks just came in, so I quickly went and bought.
