Boolean21's Tamiya 1/14 Flatbed Semi-trailer
succumbed to the semi trailer poison and got this trailer....
received the package last weekend....
here's some photos of the contents...
the box....
the frame, rails, etc....
Manual and stickers...
the plastic parts....
and the metal parts....
will build up soon!
look out for another flat bed trailer popping up....
the owner already built it up!

Nice! Buy some PVC piping from hardware shop. Cut them to lenght. You got yourself some piping cargo.

Re: Boolean21's Tamiya 1/14 Flatbed Semi-trailer
managed to squeeze out 2 short sessions for the flatbed build....
some photos taken along the way...
session one...
Bag A
sorted out the hardware.... seems to be the first step ever since Laneboys enlightened me....
Bag B
the frame completed, together with the manual legs....
the legs won't be installed on the trailer, but will keep them for future projects...
the motorized legs will be installed once the trailer build is completed....

What loads are you intend to carry on your flat bed?

Re: Boolean21's Tamiya 1/14 Flatbed Semi-trailer
Great trailer.
I thought you gonna use it for your HPI Mini. Putting other RC cars on the flat bad also save storage space

That's a very good excuse for buying the trailer.

Re: Boolean21's Tamiya 1/14 Flatbed Semi-trailer
spent a few sessions to build up the motorized legs before continuing the semi trailer build....
Session 1:
For mounting on the semi truck.....
done!
i thought the motorized legs would be easy and fast to complete... but took me around 2hrs to finish only this portion...
lots of time wasted on sorting out the hardware....
