RTR or kit
hi guys,
i often play rtrs and intend to buy a scx10. Are the parts of the rtr as good as the kit? and does aluminium hop ups help in crawling?

Re: RTR or kit
Its good if you buy a kit as you will know your truck better. Rtr does provide everything at the cost of some plastic parts. Thats where some guys needs upgrading. Plastic links do bend. But still can trail.
Its the electronis parts that you will most likely upgrade or diy water proofing. Since you ored have the tx and rx you should consider kit. Cheap water proof servo is readily available and diy water proof esc. Just get a 27T motor will do if you buy kit. We are crawling not speeding. I used a 35T as I wanted more torque than speed as my truck is heavy.
