Waterproof LED Empty Waterproof LED

Bros, how do i waterproof LED lights ? I have a Tundra with all the lights. Managed to install a waterproof servo and got myself a Novak waterproof esc on recommendation of another bro. Now wondering how to waterproof LED lights. Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Hi bro,
no need to waterproof the LEDs, just need to waterproof your light circuit PCB or light unit...

which light unit are you using?

Really? That's great! One less thing to do. The one on my tundra looks like the GT Power one... How to waterproof this? So many LED connectors going to one place....

easiest way is to put the whole unit into a balloon (some of the guys use condom, recycled or new, i've no idea... Very Happy )

then cable tie the neck of the balloon, squeeze some silicone sealant into the neck, then secure with another cable tie... meaning, the silicone is in between both cable ties... then squeeze the area a little... to ensure the silicone is wrapped around the wires inside the neck area of the balloon...

this is what i do for those stuffs that don't generate heat... e.g. light circuit, etc...
