DIY Scale Wipers For Sawback Truck
Just sharing how I made some scale wipers for my Sawback.
Wife's flossing picks from Guardian pharmacy. Cut out the shapes below. The flossing picks will form the main bodies, the zip ties the wiper parts. Drill two 2mm hole carefully. Of course you'll need 2mm screws and nuts of the right length, depending on your truck's windscreen.
CA them together. The angle must be right, as the wiper parts need to be horizontal when sitting at rest on the bottom of the windscreen. I Blu-Tacked them to the windscreen first to get the angle right.

I sprayed them matte black for texture. The ribbed flossing picks do given the wipers more character.
Here's how they look installed.
One of the holes was drilled in the wrong place. So I used a spare Axial side window roller-handle to 'manually operate' the wipers, as this is how the old Jeep Willys wipers worked, albeit from the top.

Here's another shot with the windscreen installed.
Roll clockwise to wipe right, and vice versa.
