Hi I using this X-CHARGER606D to do my charging of my Nosram 4200mAh 7.2Volt NiMH battery.
Q1. What are the correct amp n voltage to set on my charger if I need to discharge n charge?
Q2. What would be the best number of cycle to do a discharge n charge?
Q3. Do I need to discharge n charge the batt every time I charging the batt?

Q1 If u want a faster charging time you can set 2 amp , but the punch not so strong . So if u set at 1 amp, it will take longer charging time. But the punch is much much stronger.

For discharge I will set 1 amp. Cause if u set the discharge amp to high it will spoilt your battery and also stress your charger.

Q2 If your battery has not been use for a long time, set to 2 cycle or maybe 3 cycle for best result.

Q3 Is better to discharge it first , then charge. As this can extend the battery life.

Hey tks again bro.
1)As my charger can set the amp n volt to do discharge, so now I set to 1A but what would be the correct voltage I need set for the cut-off,saw in some forum mention 5.4V .
2)As what I do now my batt 4200mAh I set to 4.2A its take about 1hrs10min to full charge is it ok or should I reduce the amp?

hi bro...
usually, charging will be at the battery cap rate...

e.g.
4200mah -> charge at 4.2A
3000mah -> charge at 3A
5000mah -> charge at 5A

etc....
remember to set the voltage right and the battery type right....

that's what i do.... hope it helps...
