new guy in crawling
Hi guys, got a used ax10 from a forum bro here,
First time playing rc so still learning all the rc terms
And figuring out how the electronics workss and stuff
I will be doing some mods on my AX10
They are a making a metal body land rover series 2
Shifting the 540 motor to the front and above the axle instead of the center of the body
Hydraulic steering
Adjustable suspension
My final mod will be tilting suspension
So far progress is good, still need more parts and time
Hopefully i can go crawling with you guys soon!

Re: new guy in crawling
some sketches of the landy.Scale is based on the 2.2 tires that I had on the ax10 now
Template
Just a mock up
same thing but from a different angle
Dont worry about the travel, I will adjust it later
shifting the motor in front and above the axle.
The 'hydraulic' steering
Hope you guys like it. Its still far from completed and I will try to finish it asap!!!

Actually no lah, it depends on how much you willing to spend. You can buy a cheapo china made mountain bike still can chiong. Same thing you buy a affordable RTR crawler also can chiong.
