This is my Truck Project. I have seen this truck when I was very young.

Size comparison to my D110

After scale it to the size of my D110, the wheelbase comes to be almost the same as the SCX10 Dingo Kit. So not much modification of the chassis is required. Will update more once I start.

There's a few variant to this model. This may be a longer wheelbase.

Yeah! has a really cool look with all the strange angles. Good that they did not build a lot of curved panels back then, easier to build Surprised

My first choice was the Unimog, it was while searching on unimog that I found this Ford 15CWT. The panel is also one of the reason I choose this truck. Start small first. Laughing I'm not as good as the rest of the master builder here.

Will try my best. I still need to learn from the masters here in this forum. My acquisition for this project has over shot my budget. Still pending one more delivery of hardware.

Great haul of hardware! Two motors? Both for the same truck?

The photos of the Germany guy's truck are very interesting. What makes the truck come alive are all the little bits of styrene details. NTC Hobbies on South Bridge road has a lot of the tiny styrene rods to make those details.

I bought the 35T for spare. One motor for one truck. Have been to NTC. Too many types and a bit pricey. Dun noe wht to get also until I build it. Wish they were not station in CBD area. My in-vehicle unit keep beeping Evil or Very Mad whenever i go buy things there.

You can see his build in "Scale 4x4 RC Forum". Very detailed scale build. Too bad the video is no longer there. Sad

Hardware came by UPS. Ordered on 3 September arrived today. Now waiting for my Junfac order. cheers

Some update. Wanted to use SCX10 chassis but tearing down my Landy is like killing me. The other is reserved for my kids. So will build this on custom chassis instead.

Package from JunFac arrived. Tyre a bit small but is ok lah. Tyre and wheel from Junfac

Scale shock

No intruction included for the shock so have to rely on photo from Web. Only problem is the silicon rubber shock dun know where to put. Soft spring is too soft. Hard spring is maybe too hard. Cant adjust. Will get the leaf spring to work with the shock for the build...

The CMP has not much curve but the angle of the panel is not easy to get. Trying to build it as paper model for now and its my 3rd try. First 2 panels build totally out of aligment. Used to have a software for this type of requirement but that was on my older OS. Win 7 not supported.

Not the same. Mine is just one single spring shock. No oil and air, as it is not sealed type. Dun noe if it is for the shock bushing cos the shock bushing is not snap in type to the shock end. It can fall out from one side. Just has to figure it out like tikam tikam.

Thanks Boolean21. Yeah I build it the same way. It is only that the red rubber "O" I need to take it out. Laughing . I installed it in the Shock tube! So confirm its for the bushing on top. Thanks man.

Still building my paper model. If really cannot get the exact scale than it will be made to fit and go type. Its harder this way and not scale. But as long as it look like can Ored. Just improve from there.

Thanks to Boolean21. I manage to get it right. The red "O" ring rubber should be here. Its to hold the blue metal bushing in-place. This is gonna be a SLOW build.

Thanks. Now really thinking of getting the leafspring. Since I lost my Gmade TS01 hard spring, can only use the soft spring which is too soft.
