Actually I do have a jar of Tamiya X6 Orange Acrylic... However, it may be a very different "look" than using the translucent red.

Last night I did the indicator lenses on my XR311. Two coats of brush paint on the back of the lens.


Back side:


Not sure how this will look like when it is applied on a larger area, and when you put LEDs behind.

I will bring you a bit of orange in a separate container too. Do you have thinner for the acrylic paint?

I can help with the LED and electrical installation. As for the orange and red translucent paint: I have Red translucent, Master Liew has Orange translucent.
