Thanks qks57. I got new battery and new charger. Trying out the run time tonite. The old battery I will retire it. Now its my TX battery that need to be change. Seems nowdays "Li-Fe" battery is used for TX. I'm really out of touch with RC for very long. Thanks anyway for your offer.

no problem.. just thought perhaps i can help to revive the battery. anyway, u can try fully discharging the battery by connecting it to a light kit or something, then charge it using ur charger, just keep recharging to force charge into the battery. watch the temps though, battery temps cannot exceed 80 deg C. it helped my friend's NiMH battery.

Li-Fe is a recent product, quite new in market.

Li-Po are okay, just gotta be careful with the connectors..

Will try your method. But I dun really have high hope for it as when I charge, it shows a Voltage of 10V plus.

The charger I bought has a temp cut-off in the event it reach 80 deg C. Can be set lower but battery I dun know how the charger will know the temp. I charge at 5 amp the whole charger and battery is very hot to touch when reaching to full charge. So now I charge at 3amp and below in aircon cool room Smile at night. Will setup a mini fan to help the cooling, now salvaging things I had lying around. Mostly is server and rack fan with 12v Dc.

Will get the Li-Fe once Jethobby has stock. Now my landy battery last longer than my TX battery Laughing Thanks for the great info and guidance.

Appreciate all bros for the great help! Now my electric problem solve, onwards to the next build.
