The Begin Of Beanstalk's D90
Take a look at the link below and let me know what you think of my acrylic paint job!!
i painted the grill, headlights, fuel cap, bonnet grills and the door handles Matt Black. I am going to paint the roof and fender flares Black also in a Gloss like the D90 body.
I achieved my Gloss finish by applying a clear plastic primer, then followed my two coats of acrylic Red.
i used an air compressor and a new spray-gun
(the roof may look bad, though i am spraying the roof black)

hi beanstalk,
referring to your PM, for your case, you have a gelande chassis on the way,the gelande chassis has mounting holes for the defender body, you can take a look when the chassis arrives. not sure if the chassis comes with the bolts for mounting, but you should be able to get them easily at your local hardware stores.
for my case, i did not mount the interiors to the body, the interior fits into the body nicely and once the body is mounted on my custom chassis, the interiors does not move at all. you can try it out when your chassis arrives.

i'm not a pro... just a newbie..
Embedded the photo for you.
from imageshack, you can either copy the "Code for forum" and paste into the message, or copy the "Direct Link" and then click this icon -> and paste the "Direct Link" into the text field and it'll embed the image in the message.... easier for other members to view.
