Beadlock Wheel made of what material?

Post by babyboy on Wed 22 Aug 2012 - 13:08

When it says beadlock wheel can I assume that it is not made of plastic? Or it can be metal and plastic?

They can be plastic wheels with plastic rings, plastic wheels with metal rings or metal wheels with metal rings.... Smile

The one from Axial I bought for our Dingo are plastic wheels with metal rings.

2mm screws are used to bolt the rings to the wheel -- which is bad as they easily strip...

Looking at purchashing 1.9 VR01 beadlock wheels for my second landy. Need to weight down the wheel more together with weights. Hmm if thats the case looks like it should be plastic. USD$11.20 for 2pc.

Thanks Guys!

VR-01 beadlocks are plastic. the nuts and bolts rust very easily, recommended to get stainless nuts and bolts for it. Smile i used to have a set of them on my mini-trophy.
