HI all, I just got myself a grand hauler with the MFC-03 and would like to seek some advise on the Futaba 4YF 2.4ghz transmitter.

I've replaced the right stick with springs and now it's the same as the Futaba 4YWD. But I was just wondering if there's any issues if the transmitter is a mode 1 or mode 2 type?

And also if the transmitter is a mode 1 type, would just plugging the MFC-03 plug into the 3rd channel of the receiver instead of the 2nd channel work?

Some function need certain input fr diff stick. U will have problem as the manual shows the setting is diff from what you have.

I think my 4yf 2.4ghz is a mode 2 (throttle in right stick) Will you or anyone here knows how to change it to mode 1 (throttle in left stick)?

Oh my, sorry... I made a mistake. Yes you can. Its just a 4 channel radio. Does not matter mode 1 or 2.... it can be used. Just plug in the proper channel. Just need to check that the radio works with your MFC03.
