Hey guys, i am a complete noob at all this stuff, although i am not completely hopeless. I have a hsp bushless buggy, i run some 2s lipos in it with deans connectors and i have an imax b606 charger. I want to get into trails and crawling and mudding. But i have no idea. Ive been told th the axial wrait ir trail honcho will suit me well, but what cinnectors do they have. As i cant afford to buy new batteries, and i dont have a soldering iron,

Help pleease hahah Very Happy

should be cheaper than that, check out your local rc shop to see if they have them over there.

batteries usually comes with female connectors so that they will have lesser chance of shorting, check out your lipos to confirm, they should be female deans...

the axial rtr comes with male tamiya style plug... so you'll need a male deans to female tamiya adapter...
i'll try to upload a photo later of the adapter i'm using... Smile

Awesome thanks alot. Is the adapter just easier then soldering?. Also I'm stuck between the wraith and honcho, I'm going to be using it for a little bashing and little jumps, but I got some creeks and rocks in te bush beside my house, what would you recommend out of the two?

Thanks again for all your help Smile

Hi bro, the wraith rtr has got 2.2 tires, would be better for rocks... but for trails, both are great crawlers... Smile

most importantly, follow your heart... Smile buy both!! Very Happy

Hi bro, yeah, that will work.... Smile

For waterproofing, easiest way is to balloon the receiver and the light unit small pcb, grease the output shaft of the servo, and for the esc, either put it into a container and seal it up, or like what some of us do, waterproof it using NEUTRAL CURE SILICONE.

Can check out some of the threads I post here on waterproofing... Smile

I'm going to try and water proof my buggy just for practise. I have plenty of small plastic container and some marine grease.what does balloon the reciever mean?. Do I cut wholes in the plastic container for the wires? Then seal them off with something?

Put the esc in a container, drill some holes to let the cables out, and seal up the container and holed.... Check putt the thread where I did the waterproofing initially, the one with a container...
