ShaiAX55 The Wreckluse Build
I thought its time to switch the AX10 to a Trail Rig. I have been planning this since i bought the Gmade R1 from Boss. To make an R1 1.9 KOH and upgrade the AX10. Bcos of my love for tuber chassis, i decided on The Wreckluse from RCPCRAWLERS. I still like rockcrawling.. well maybe an MOA after this build? hmmm..that aside.. so here goes.
The Wreckluse Chassis (damn ex
)
Gmade R1 Hopup Axles
AX10 Tranny
32P 60T Spur Gear
32P 9T Pinion
Novak Crawler Brushless ESC
35T HPI Brushed Motor (cheapo)
Traxxas Jato upper links (this are good links)
Gmade R1 lower links
Gmade TS02 Scale Shocks (switched the ZERO Shocks with my R1 1.9 KOH)
Custom 2.2 Wheels by Siggy (wow)
2.2 Proline Flatiron tires
for the interiors, im currently thinking of buying the Wraith full set interiors. Doesn't matter, i can try make my own.
Ive prepared the items so as soon as i received the chassis, i did a mock up. Everything fits nicely, thats what i thought.

Realize i need to make a centre servo plate. The R1 low cg servo plate doesn't suits the chassis. But i will make do with it first.

AX10 Tranny fits skid plate nicely but bcos of the length my links, I have to ditch the dig. So no dig on this Wreckluse.

Without dig. The rear length is perfect.

Used some plates lying around for my electronics. Reuse the AX10 Battery plate to hold the battery.

Everything fits nicely, i can also use NIMH battery and it will fit right in.

Manage to paint the hood halfway today. Im using 3 colors. Mustard Yellow as the base color. Will continue painting 2moro morning. Some decals by rcpcrawlers too.

Together with my R1 1.9 KOH for inspiration lol

Well will continue building and testing it this week. I try to do it fast but if everything turns out too good, this rig might just be a shelf queen
P.S: Bro Boolean need ur help to print out some designs for my hood.

So here it is.
THE WRECKLUSE

My son posing with my Tubers

Its actually 70% complete. Still need to decide on the centre servo plate, make some interiors, lightings & buy some scale accessories. So stay tuned.

Re: ShaiAX55 The Wreckluse Build
A lil update, decided to make my own interior & center servo plate. Need to save some money for future projects hehe
.
I use these: Computer casing parts, my Wraith spares, D90 back seats donated by a friend & a sponge lol. The only thing that i buy is a black spray paint.

And make these:

Not the best of all interior builds around this forum lol. Will make some interior decals soon to touch up.
The Gmade axle uses low cg steering plate that will make the servo hit the Wreckluse chassis. So i make my own high mounted center plate. Quite tedious to get it mount perfectly but so far so gd.

Next will be waterproofing & make some decals & the Wreckluse is good to go.
