What is the minimum servo torque for steering? Thanks....

13kg at 7.4volts. Confirm turn swee swee and fast.

My bec only churn out 6v hor.... Only can get 9.6kg at 6v.

Use the Hitec high voltage servo, no bec needed. Just connect the servo power wires directly to your lipo bat and signal to receiver. Bec restrict the power to the servo.

what rig are you using on? for trails, 9.6Kg is plenty already... a cheap hobbyking bms620mg waterproof servo is good enuf for lots of fun.

don't really need to spend so much on a servo for trails..

I never understood electrical since school days... Only know water and current dont mix....

Get the Hitec waterproof servo. High torque ,waterproof , metal gears at $50+, no bec needed if you connect directly to your bat.. Just mount it on and no worries. No DIY needed, recomand for begineers.
You can get it at rotor hobby.
The New Hitec waterproof servos are designed specially for crawler usage.

I find the price is ok. I even had it submerge in stream and its still working fine.
I also diy waterproof servo on wraith, also working fine. So its up to u whether u want to spend $60 on hitec wp or cheapo version diy.
