Babyboy's Salina Maiden
Maiden my Salina at Yishun Dam on 18 Nov 10am. Spend abt 2hours there. This is a nice boat to drive leisurely around. No rooster tail . Rudder servo set at 40%. Above it you take the risk of overturn in full throttle(for me). Good to have dual rate for slow and fast driving. Sound from the motor is realistic to the ear.
Downside is the balance of this boat. At full throttle the boat tend to drop to the left. Tried shifting the battery to get the correct CG is not easy. Need to take note that you need to get a new prop to standby. In the video the boat is running on single blade prop .(used to be 3 bladed I think ) Motor is stock with a 15amp Mtroniks (required 35amp from the manual) as thats the only marine ESC I have and with NiMH 4500mah battery.
I stop running the boat when it goes dead in the water... the last blade also gone. . For bro who want to use brushless high speed motor I would advise a metal prop... . Was driving and shooting at the same time.

Nice place to play. but no toilet facilities.

there got park meh? looks like a park in the photo
No park, but foot path from the Dam (only the foot path look like park). In the picture on the right is a small shelter. The bank of the reservoir to the road is less than 6 meter. Parking is on the Dam side, walk along the foot path to the boating area. After 11pm very hot.
