Ya, my tires were totally spent after the last meet. Time for fresh ones. I find tt Banzai provides quite attractive prices for tamiya stuff. Surprisingly, delivery was within 2 weeks using normal airmail

Ya lor ... So long Liao still no have MTA M race. So decide to start exploring open class Liao.    

Haha just kiddin.... Actually the bigger 1/10 wheels I am using on my M05 seemed to have sucked up a bit of torque from my stock motor and gearing; lost a bit of punch. Akin to using 18" rims on a 1.4L car. So i'm using a sport tune but also cutting the pinion from 20T to 18T to boost the torque. I was told that the effective rpm does not change much from stock   so hopefully still can pass MTA regulations hor?  

anyway, car forum say "Ai mod mai kia, ai kia mai mod" haha. (Pardon my hokkien.)

Needed new and higher body post for the SoCal body. It's just too low slung and its crampin my style (and speed).  Haha.

Aiyo...MTA set race rulings, but race day is set by the orgainsers, plus drinks and the mei meis mah...

Anyways, MTA will be watching closely for heavily mod offenders...

You one fine day add a turbo on your golf and change close ratio gearings on your transmission...and find another fine day drive to LTA and ask inspector there can this combo pass or not lor...
