Borneo escapade
Hi all,
I have been spending a month in Kuching, Sarawak on the island of Borneo, and possibilities for RC crawlers are almost limitless.
Here are some preview pictures... videos will be posted when I'm back to Singapore next week.
This is a first site, just by the road side after Matang.
Some serious mudding!
Too serious in fact.
Winching is required!
This second site is 10mns drive by the side of the road from my house in Batu Kawa
Another crawling site, this one is less than 5mns drive from my house, and the bonus is a 1/10 Short Course or 1/8th electric buggy track.
The Field Force RC track (it is in police compound...)
All pictures hosted on Picasaweb, uploaded in size 2048x1368, taken with Panasonic Lumix GF5, 14-42 lens.
Enjoy!

Re: Borneo escapade
Typical Borneo sandy mud... once you're in, only the winch can take you out!
Bonus pics: The little truck beside the real size one, my Land Cruiser MKII. Unfortunately the engine needs some repair/tuning, I'll do it when I really stay in Kuching.
Same tires, just 10 times the size!
The winch is a lot bigger...

Re: Borneo escapade
Some pics taken during the RFC 2010 in Johor.
Camp site
Some serious muding in the Twilight Zone.
This is how the engine looks like after 21 hours in the mud...
One of the top competitors of Kuching, 2nd of the RFC 2010
This is what I call mud!
Now you know what I mean when I say extreme...
