Honcho Wooden Truck Bed Build
Well, got bored with my stock Honcho look (it's the best all-round stock performer, though, IMO), so decided to build a wooden truck bed for it. I'm not a fast builder so progress will be slow. First, two pics from which I got some ideas:

Most of the wood, I got from Art Friend at Bras Basah. A lot of good stuff there for RC building!

Got the main pieces cut out with a hacksaw. Good exercise for my arms! By the way, was pleased to find those wood-strips panels you see in the background at Art Friend. Will lay that on my truck bed for that "plank-by-plank" look, hehe.

Some holes for the bumper's brake and signal light buckets—spares I have lying around.
Will post more pictures later. Thanks for viewing. Any comments/criticisms, welcomed!

Side slots cut out for side railings to be slotted in later.
Brackets cut for mounting the truck bed.

Now thinking of what color to stain/varnish it.

After a long delay, managed to finish the project. Got the wood stained. Wired up all the LEDs and decided to make a rear window frame. The wire mesh is from a pencil holder.

Since there are rear signal lights, I had to give my truck matching front signal lights too! Thanks for viewing.
