Hi guys,

I purchased this kit in March 2013, new-old-stock. The most expensive Tamiya kit I ever purchased, but it has a hard-plastic shell and comes with the rally cockpit.

I didn't dare to start on it until recently, when a client approached me to build the shell for him. So I built both kits at the same time. I acquired a 2nd hand chassis for the client in the mean time, so I got two complete cars done.

The cars are built stock, with a few minor tweaks to be more accurate to the 1:1 car. This project took me 2 intense but very enjoyable months.

What a machine!

Nice pair of the Lancia... seems likely you only built these Group B rally monsters back in the 80's that FIA eventually banned this class. Have you thought of building the mightly Audi Quattro S1 to add up to your collection? Twisted Evil
