Newb's Wild Truck

Good Day peeps!
New to the R/C world and got myself a K949.
Gota start somewhere cheap. heheee...

Anyway, I notice that the truck have this faint 'beeep' sound.
Is it normal for an R/C?
Also, lets say I want to reverse immediately after I go forward, I find it that it takes time to throttle backwards after going straight....hmmm...
Is it suppose to be like this?

Hope this newly found hobby can last longer than my wallet.
heheee...

and just for fun, I think ima try putting on a SCT or a Drift tires.
hehee

hehee.. definitely enjoying it.
Recently acquire an Austar 2.2 inflatable wheels! Boy! they are fun!
Fits nicely on the rig!

Also, bought a Police LED Light , the manual says to plug it to the 3rd Channel of the receiver, dangg! The K949 only have 2 slots on the receiver rite? (Is it called a receiver?)

Updates!
Recently got the Aluminum Hex Wheels, some scale accessories,
KYX Rear 110mm shocks, Rear Shock towers and of course, Dutch from Predator as the Driver. heheeee
