Savage flux XS 1st impressions...
Ok,so i managed to resolve the lost turnbuckle prob by replacing one of the lost/stock one with the one from the mini inferno, which fit perfectly...it was 12.44 past midnight and my truck is now itching to bash...
SPEED/POWER
This is my very first brushless off road vehicle,so im actually thrilled by the amount of speed/power this beast offers. but i find that this truck can hardly handle full throttle sometimes,i drive it on the road it kept sliding around when i zhuah full throttle for 2 sec or more, probably the roads and grounds were wet cos it rained not long ago. However i liked pulling the trigger full for a split second to see the truck burst 100m across machiam bullet siol...half throttle or more than half throttle still controllable.
STANDING BACKFLIPS???
Standing backflips are totally dependant on whether the tires got traction or not,i was only able to do 1-2 times, like i said the ground was wet and slippery so bo traction...
BASHING?
First and foremost i would not recommend running this thing over grassy areas, until you get the XS's "turnbuckle popping off without u knowing it" sorted out, thats how i lost one of them. T-T luckily i ordered traxxas bandit turnbuckles, AKA part no.#2443. should arrive in 1-2 weeks time to my doorstep.
I would prefer to run this over sand and gravel anytime, see sand and gravel more shiock than seeing leaves fly, lol.
RUNTIMES:
I was able to get 40-50 mins runtime on a 40C 2S 4300MAH lipo, but that was because i was doing the following shit:
1.silently and stealthily driving it slowly across the void decks to the main road(dun wan to wake up neighbours)
2.spending 10 mins looking for a body clip that flew off.
Would recommend getting up to 4-5 packs of 2s lipo or if u willing to risk it, 3S lipos, turn down the throttle L/H EPAs when using 3S to give it more run time, try getting 3S lipos with discharge rates of 20C, to me 2S is really good enough le.

DURABILITY
This truck can take a beating, but dont take it for granted cos its parts can still get damaged/lost/break,i lost a steering turnbuckle and bent a driveshaft in 2 days already =( but those are very minor damages,so far nothing has broke yet. Amazingly the truck can still run well with the bent drive shaft,i just need to swap the sides over to insert the bent end into the diff output shaft.
