Waterproofing the servo - Neutral Cure Silicone
remember that time my wraith's servo died before the trail even started?
opened up the servo, pcb looks ok, gears still greased and no sign of water and burn...
so the BMS-620mg is really waterproof.... it ran through deep water, mud, etc previously before it gave up that day...
since no sign of water and burn... i connect it up and tried again... it works... alamak... i should have tested first before opening it up...
so i marine greased the gears, and sealed the pcb side with neutral cure silicone (my best friend in waterproofing!).... cos for the pcb side, worried that the rubber seal doesn't sit properly when closed.. so silicone is the safest...
the other is a BMS-620... i always buy BMS-620mg, dunno why during the last order, ordered wrongly and got the one without metal gear... it has some gears loose, so i opened and seat the gears properly, tested and working again... so sealed back the servo with marine grease on the gear side and silicone on the pcb side...
now i got 2 more servos to put back to the wraith and the hilux liao...

Get the 5000mah lipo , you only need one pack, no need carry so many nimh.

Bro waterproof servo, maybe in long term will damage, but not the first time go inside water then damage right. Like Boolean like this silicon the servo and use Marine grease on the servo. look like quite good. I buy the Marine grease liao but haven try on the Tower MG995 servo.

Mine is rtr, come with servo. But I think the stock servo not water proof, so I take 1 cheap cheap servo and test test. Hope it work, at the metal gear there I apply (Marine grease).
Must try then know the result.
