Re: qks57's RC4WD High-lift build
someone help me out here? i'm tempted to get RC4WD's trail finder chassis frame for my 1.9 truck.. how does it compare to the SCX10 chassis? the trail finder's all-aluminum chassis is S$10 more expensive than the SCX10 chassis set(includes the frame rails, cross members, tranny mount, shock hoops, radio box)..
if i were to get the trail finder chassis i'll be getting an R2 tranny with it, if i get the SCX10 chassis i'll get an axial tranny with it.. both have their pros and cons..
with the trail finder chassis, it'll be easy to mount the leafs which i'll be using.. i really can't decide.. someone help me out here pls!

here's a picture of my spur that's going into my axial tranny.. its a 54T 32P spur from RJ Speed, its the only one available in the market that can fit axial tranny and small enough to be covered by the spur gear cover..

I'm using 32p 54T too on my wraith couple with 14T pinion for speed. Looks like ur rig gonna be an awesome crawler. What chassis u using?
Re: qks57's RC4WD High-lift build
ahh okay, my wraith uses the same spur gear as well, coupled with 13T pinion. i'm going with Axial SCX10 chassis, now waiting for a well-priced deal. prices are going at S$120+ for the chassis rails with cross members, rx box, batt holder and tranny mount.

Re: qks57's RC4WD High-lift build
my komodo chassis didn't go through, had to go with RC4WD's Trail Finder chassis. got 1 on Ebay for a good price, now just waiting for it to arrive. meanwhile, here are some pics of the stuff for the truck..
