Customize links on SCX10 for Defender D90 body

Hi all D90 owners,
While waiting for my SCX10 kits to arrive.. i read that the links for SCX10 kits are in aluminum (6x91mm)..
Anyone of you guys shorten these alu links and how do u shorten it?

You can buy short aluminium links or diy your links with 3mm or 4mm threaded rods and rod ends...

thanks man! im very new to this forum...i just bought a Dingo...And im thinking of getting the D90 from Peter of eBay..
Just that now what's stopping is the customizing the link lengths...My Dingo comes with a Y-Link for the upper link...how do I replace it to get a 4-Link so that I can shorten it?

Check your parts bag... Should come with the 4-link truss...

I don think the Axial SCX10 Dingo kit comes with the 4-link truss..
, only the RTR set has it.. ..
