It has landed.....happy & Sad
The Gelande has arrived yesterday evening......was so happy and started to test the rig... then
It does not move....the motor turns but not driving the transmission...like no power like that....charged up the Lipo batts and try again....same lar Found that the motor was loose connecting to the transmission box....tighten but still not moving and like slipping.....
Help!!!!!!! What should I do?

Re: It has landed.....happy & Sad
Was wondering if I should send back the rig for them to check? On the other hand, the cost of sending back will cost right and may be more than just getting another transmission from them? Who bears the cost of shipping? Should I just ask them to send another transmission for me to replace?
Lost liao and molest for you all will be disappointed as it does not move!!!!

Might be gear slipping in the internal gears of gearbox if theres a step gearing inside. Reason is the step gearing may be 2 piece construction instead of 1 pcs.

Re: It has landed.....happy & Sad
Well after all I did, it narrows to indicate that the problem lies with the motor or the tranny......RC4WD will ship both to me soon....
In the meantime, lets keep crawling.....with my reliable Honcho....yeehah!!!

Wah lao its only an RC toy... Just tear down and inspect lah. Sure easy fix if its just loosen parts. If unless breakage, then get exchange..
Come on, just open the tranny and i believe 90% is sure can identify, fix, then start playing it on the next day.

Adoi, No need to tear down so much.....I tell you you dont tell RC4WD kay!.....i strip down the motor and tranny so many times i can draw out the configuration without looking at it liao....
I am sure its the motor and tranny.....without that, I can hand push the rig freely around the house with some sound........sound from my mouth like wrooommmmm....wrooooommmm
