Re: What 35T motor means?
just the way the motor is built lah.
Higher the turns ( T ), more the torque less the speed.
350 is the motor physical size.. tamiya uses 540 for its 1/10 scales.
350 is smaller than 540.

If you want speed, go for lower turns, if for trail or rock crawling, go for something like 55 T or more.

Yeah... T refers to the number of turns...
For trails... 27T or 35T are good... Still have some wheel speed which are nice for trails.

Oh OK. Cos I have an ESC that I bought for some project but not in use. The specs is for 380 motor. Its a crawler ESC from Thunder Tiger. Just wondering if this will work for the 35T motor that I bought from Tower Hobbies together with the SXC10 Kit. Hope that it won't burn out.

Re: What 35T motor means?
Hmmm from the specs, it says max load 20A for 5mins, and 50A momentarily...
do you have the specs of the motor? Current consumption under load?
Might be a little risky... Although 35t doesn't draw high current... there might still be a chance of burning out the esc during binds....
If u have a amp meter, can try monitoring the current draw of the motor before using tge esc....
Another easier option, is to order the cheap ~usd10 china esc and waterproof it!
