Slipper Clucth for SCX10 setup
Need help on the spur gear setup.
The instruction says "to setup, tighten the nut clockwise until it stops then lossen it 2 turns counter clockwise. The spur gear should slip when firm pressure is applied. To test, hold the tires, use your fingers to rotate the spur gear. Note the spur gear should slip when firm pressure is applied, if it does not slip, loosen the nut in1/2 turn increments"
The nut wont stop turning until the spring is depress all the way, The spur gear wont even slip if I follow the above instruction. I tighten not even half way and tried the test, I have to loosen quite a lot before the spur gear can slip. Am I doing the correct way??? Hold the Tyre and turn the spur gear and it should slip easily or with some difficulty??

Re: Slipper Clucth for SCX10 setup
it should not slip easily.... cos if slip too easily, the rig will be stuck at almost any obstacle..
personally, i tighten it quite tight, prefer it to be locked....
just remember not to force too hard...
