Re: Boolean21's Duratrax Baja Bug
Nice new toy! Chassis photos please
Seems to be more like 1:9 or 1:8 scale than 1:10 -- bugs are quite small.

Re: Boolean21's Duratrax Baja Bug
the chassis is simple...
clearance is high...
fits a 4000mah hardcase snuggly.... but the 5200mah is too long to fit in... need some minor mods....

Re: Boolean21's Duratrax Baja Bug
Thanks for the chassis photo
Motor in the back, battery pushed quite backwards -- this thing may just behave like a real beetle
Looking forward to see some running footage.

Re: Boolean21's Duratrax Baja Bug
some minor updates...
the battery tray fits a 4000mah battery with the foam insert snugly... but i wanted it to fit a 5200mah hardcase...
so, i just made a simple battery catch out of styrene...
will test it out this sunday...

Nice shocks there. Insert silicon tubing at the shaft if you are jumping to prevent bottom out.

thanks bro..
just checked on tower, you are right... it shows temporarily unavailable... still got one White / Blue / Black to consider...
to upgrade to brushless... just need to swap out the stock ESC and Motor and put in the brushless combo will do...
buy buy buy!!
