upgrading Axial Wraith's stock driveshafts, LOOK NO FURTHER!
hey guys, all of us who own Wraiths, might run into a problem with the main driveshafts sooner or later.. i found something that's cheap and good, and best of all fits perfectly, though a little bit of trimming is needed on the spur gear cover..
i took a bet after measuring the length of the original driveshaft, and bought a set of universal driveshaft meant for the mini trophy by HPI.. only S$20, and the output shaft is same as the Wraith's, at 5mm.. better to use the original screw pins supplied by Axial though, as the ones provided in the driveshaft set is thicker.. another alternative for those who have lots of spare grub screws, is to put in 1 grub screw at each hole to secure the driveshaft yoke onto the tranny output shaft..
a cheap and good solution.. i'll be changing my driveshafts once they go koyak..
here's the driveshafts..

i haven't changed mine yet, still using the stock ones cos they're still good.. no idea how much to trim, but shouldn't be too much..
