when looking closely i decided to scratch the doors out, and hang them on scale hinches, so it will show also all the details inside when finished and would be easy to get on the electronics anyway
without remove the body itself

This MP Defender get a Female driver, some of us will know her from resident evil games .... ex navy seal Sheva

SHEVA was 10j as a navy seals sharpshooter active ... so she won't be a easy target to gets your hands on guy's be prepared

The metal rackroof with rooflights just came in , this has to be on it

Today all the doors scratched out with the modelknife, was going wel ... no isseu's at all, but the body will need some reinforcement to get stiffer and strong again
i scratched the frontplate out also, after the grill i mount police lights like on the real vehicles, on the roof a policebar too ... policelights on the backwindow too

The back hinge is of a strange type on this modelbody, haven't seen it on any landrover defenders riding here near us or in belgium, have you foto's of it ? Please pas them to me

I decided to replace it by the modern hinges used into the real defenders ... scale is scale you know !

the backdoor was cutting out in affligem today, i have to reinforce the body a bit , but looks very good with the opened cutout doors

was forgotten to take pictures of it ... we'll see tomorrow if it is not to late to post them ... the btb'ers were all agree of the high quality of the steel upgrades for this landrover, not only nice to look at but also made from steel and not that costy at all ... adequate up for the task to protect the parts of the defender just as in the big one were designed for ...
many people show interest in the landrovers as well ... try to visit us tomorrow guy's ... support us there, be welcome

as always mark's ( Rivetcounter on the forums) Tiger I from Mark I is everytime you'll see it on modelfairs a bit more detailled, its a real museumcollectable , and a working one, the sound of the bovington tiger I spread through the benedini is so full you'll think its the real one ... nice craftmanship all the way

got an alu set checkter plate for the defender body






have now the perfect metal ones ... can use them to cut out the plastic ones ... this metal ones add a little weight on the defender body always a plus for terrain ... plastics not!

The checkter plate got bown onto the defenders fenders with a little wooden hamer, give a real nice result without damage the alu plate

It begin to take shape a bit, i love to scratch things on myself, its cheap and gives so much satesfaction when done, they weight is very low cause its plastic and when painted no one can tell the difference anyway ... and there stay's money over for the next scratch tread

the backsite of the panzerplate was done with putty with celulosethinner into it , will never get loose again ... its stays there for ever now !

another set found on ebay, i've ordered one , w'll see , bought it second hand and got a RC4WD D90 full roofrack with it with another D90 body ... a bargain !!!

i live in belgium and their we have our steering wheels on the left side, so i cut the board into three piecesto manage the european style steering wheel







its not that easy, i have to make some parts scratch because it has to be a close fit for a good result ...


Got my policebalk also , mounted it directly into his place on the rooftop, made in hongkong : 11 euro

I exchanged my XC10 toyota for this Axial SCX-10 scaler chassis, so this is the thing that goes under with the 90mm rims for the scalelook







so now we can fit the chassis and the body together and seeking solutions to fasten it ... i got this bumper also ... it is very nasty looking onto the defender ... a winch add a little more weight for the groundpressure of the landrover
