Re: Gmade Sawback
Thx for viewing Mr Werner To be honest the Sawback performance is not bad at all. I did some runs, jungle terrain, sandy & hill climbs.
Tires did amazingly well on sandy hill climbs, I did add weights on the the front wheels. +1 for Gmade!
VR01 Plastic wheels, ok i had them before so i know these wont last long, it will crack eventually on hard trailing. So future upgrading is advisable.
The skid plate with rollers really helps alot and ease crawling on extreme contours. Great design +1 for Gmade!
Shocks are on soft internal springs, flex good, but as u had analyzed before, on sandy terrain sands can easily get stuck inside. So this shld be upgraded in future.
Leaf springs setups, even on soft setup (using 2 leafs without cable tie) doesn't articulate well. Maybe it needs to get seasoned. Im new to the leafs setups so I will just play around with the setups and update.
C Frame Chassis, +1 Gmade! Shiny nickel plated steel, parts removable and well designed.
Im happy with the kit, its cheaper than an SCX10 kit, crawls as good, scale body! & chassis is excellent for builders. This kit is an easy fix, good for starters.
Anything else that u need to know im glad to share it. My running vid will be ready soon on Youtube so view it and tell me what u think.
