Re: Andrew's Gmade Sawback Build Photos
Thanks for the build photos.
How does it go together? Anything you noted good or bad compared to the other vehicles you've built? How big is the receiver box inside?
And just in case anyone is wondering: no, I am totally not interested in this kit

Well, it's my first kit, and so far it's been quite easy to build. Just need to follow the instructions (pretty clear and detailed) closely. I didn't like the Philips screws, but got used to them after a while.
Of course, I don't expect this truck to perform as well as my Honcho, but I didn't buy it for that. I simply wanted it cuz it's the only 1/10 RC Jeep Willys that exists. And the price (incl. shipping) is v reasonable for me.
The receiver box is about the same size as the Axial one but the edges are straight, so I'm thinking it'll be easier to seal off/waterproof the box.
For scale trailing, it's definitely good enough for me

Finally got my 27T Axial motor and was able to finish up the chasis. Got white wheels too as I'll probably do a blue-white civilian theme.

License plate fabricated from aluminum. This truck is built in loving memory of my Dad, who thought me how to build and play.
Luxurious leather seats, why not.
