My new basher: 1/8 Porsche 959 rally
The iconic Porsche 959 Coupe Paris-Dakar race car with it's distinguished Rothmans sponsored livery is just hard to be missed...
Thats said and Tamiya is the leader in the rc industry that replicates this car in 1/12 scale 4WD chassis back in the 80's.
Thankfully, a HK R/C company brand named Carisma had also faithfully produced this beautiful machine in a 1/8 scale... yes 1/8, 4WD with a std buggy chassis platform.
Carisma also beautifully replica the Porsche 959 Rally body, with mouth watering detailed eg. windshield wipers and door handles. The scale details even surpasses Tamiya's version with the correct wheel design in white, where else Tamiya just use a plain dish design wheel with some holes, which looks like from a military vehicle... and in yellow!?!?
Well... thats all about the nice part, but is it good? Carisma?? After researching in the web and learnt that bigsquidrc had positive comments of this rig... a new parcel had arrived at my office!
Under the hood...
some outdoor pics...
That's all folks... and thanks for viewing!

Love it! Great alternative to the overpriced vintage Tamiya kit.
Thanks for giving me itchy fingers!
