Re: Marpek's new Kyosho HOR
Some d.i.y project for my new toy.
CF covering on side fairing panels as they look so uncool with the thick paint...
Before...

Step by step covering via my method from start to finish:
Step 1: Outline object and cut sheet.
Step 2: Start pasting from the smallest end. This have to be carefully plan where to start for different
shapes...

Re: Marpek's new Kyosho HOR
Step 3: After gaining starting point, flip over and began working out the covering section by section. Cover the major flat surfaces firsts, leave the edges later...
Step 4: The most tough part...rounding up all the edges, countours, etc. This with the aid of a hair dryer will be great! If you had leather or wlder gloves will be better as it can be hot on the fingers. A round edge toollike sissors handle will be great for sharp corners.Use of hair dryet or heat gun to stretch film and cover will gain best results here!
Cut slits on film for allowing film to stretch at curved corners..

Re: Marpek's new Kyosho HOR
Step 5: Sit back and enjoy the finished product! Im amazed how easy the CF film being applied compared to those common colored films as they not that easy to trap air...thks to super moderator Mr.Boo's advice...

Due to the limitations of the film stretch limits, gotta cut slits first on the film to cover on the panel, then patch up with a scrap piece to coverup the exposed surfaces...

Your CF sticker is 3M ? If not 3M, it will pop out under the sun.
I suggest you wrap the whole bike, then it will look like the " GHOST RIDER'S BIKE"
