Ordered and received my Venom Creepers from Amain Hobbies... Super fast processing and shipping! Ordered in the afternoon SG Time and the same night SG time, items is already packed and ready for shipping...
I think i ordered it on thursday or friday and the package arrived on monday... Smile

I bought these for the 6x6 coz really cheap... and lots of metal parts, and come stock with 4 link front and rear.... should be finishing the first crawler soon...Smile

some updates on my venom creepers....

only have time to work on this after midnight for the past few nights....
made a little progress for 1 creeper.... the other creeper still BNIB....

here are the photos...

Finished list
  • 4x Wheels (weighted 2 wheels with 120g weights each, to be used for front wheels of the 6x6)
  • Chassis assembly with front and rear 4 links (missed out the motor... so have to dismantle the battery tray to fit in the motor... those who plan to get this kit, remember to mount the motor first! you wont regret it)
  • Drive shafts x 2
  • Front and rear axles (the axles are interesting, got a switch to lock and unlock the differentials... you can suka suka lock or unlock whenever you like, or can add a micro servo to control the lock and unlock)

Pending list
  • shocks
  • motor!
  • assemble everything

I think that should be all for testing out the first creeper before proceeding further...

Saw this when searching for 6x6 and 8x8.... some build 12x12!....

8x8 either use a transfer case or use moa / twin esc to drive 2 motors.... One motor drive 4 axles like quite siong leh....

Didn't think of 8x8 coz no ready made bodies suitable.... if got time to show me how to build, eouod surely consider! :-)

but first, have to finish building one first.... didn't have time to work on it last night... so status remains...
