Rtr good enough la... Just need to do up some custom lower links and you are all set...
Re: Help!!! Electronics ??? For 1-10 crawler
Crawler is best to have drag brake. Otherwise when going down slope , without drag brake, your rig will be dashing down. Not say dashing down no good, but not so scale and sometime if there are obstacle on the slope your rig might hit it and overturn.
The wraith RTR esc comes with the programmable drag brake, forward-> brake-> reverse features to prevent damage to drive drain cause by rig moving forward then sudden reverse.
the AS-2 servo is full metal gears and quite strong. Receiver is micro receiver , very small.
So why make yourself headache, just get the RTR and you dun have to search high and low for electronics.

Oh..... U talking about drag brake.... I thought u meant brake....
Drag brake can be achieved using pinion and motor combo... Too strong drag brake for scaling also no good... When u descend the steep slopes, if suddenly brake on the slope, the truck will topple... And roll down the slope....
Check out the recent video at peirce reservoir, the yellow hummer using the nosram esc, brakes real well on the slope.. Might be gearing though....
Rtr good enough la.. Cheaper too compared to getting the stuffs separately...

Actually if the setting is rite, for eg. soften the shock, battery not necessary in front, we are not rock crawling, placing the battery as low as possible, get more sticky tires, get offset rims, mod the suspension like that si marpek one. The CC-01 can also be a good crawler. The SCX10 also a capable crawler, with the rite setting , the SCX10 can also rock crawl.

For CC-01, the tyre need to change. Addition cost
Axial Wraith or SCX10 RTR, you just need the battery and charger.
