Axial Wraith - Richie's build thread

OK, so I've taken the dive into Crawling and bought a Wraith kit from Tower Hobbies, I paid for the fast delivery and it's due to arrive on Friday I bought some of the upgrades that were recommended on the web and will run the rest stock until stuff breaks. I have plenty of electronics just now to stick in it, I bought some of the R2Hobbies cheap boat esc's and will waterproof my towerpro Servo.


I will update my build as it happens in this thread, I am very excited, this is the first crawler I've had, I have built 1/8 scale nitro truggies, buggies and 1/10 scale drifters previously, so it shouldn't cause too much of an issue.

Any tips anyone want to give me?

Sunday's are fairly difficult to get away, but night trails I am well up for!

I'll see what I can do, there is another group I am hoping to meet up with too.

Sorry, just seen this post, I have nearly finished the build already, burnt the midnight oil last night, I was only stopped by the fact I didn't have the right colours of paint I wanted! I am off to Jet today to grab them and will commence tonight I got too excited

Sorry, Sunday's are not really any good for me most of the time, I have young kids and prefer to spend time with them at the weekend, I would opt for evening sessions any time though.
